Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, WordPerfect or pdf document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references should be provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 11.5-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • The author(s) received financial support for their manuscript-based research.


  • Author(s) commit themselves to adhere to the journal’s ethical standards.

Author Guidelines

  • Maunscripts should not exceed 8.000 words,  including figures, tables and references.

  • Author name and credentials should be listed according to the requirements of the American Psychological Association style (APA), 6th edition.

  • Manuscript style should follow the APA style, 7th edition.

  • Text should be double-spaced, unjustified, and in a 11.5-point font.

  • The FONT of the main title should be "Verdana", with size 18.

  • The FONT of abstract, titles and sub-titles should be "Cambria", with size 10. 

  • The FONT of the main text should be "Palatino Linotype", with size 11.5.

  • All pages should be numbered, except for the first page.
